THE HAND BEHIND THE PAINTING

The texture.
The light.
The human touch.

Look closely. The folds are fabric. The marks are paint. Every work begins with Saima’s hands.

MESSAGE FROM THE ARTIST

Meet Saima Afia.

I am Syeda Saima Afia – Founder of Qurbart.

Qurbart established in 2023 and it is a reflection of my love for art & creativity. Qurbart was born from a desire to translate the fleeting, romantic moments of existence into timeless visual pieces. I do not simply create paintings; I craft windows into serene, dreamlike worlds. My work explores the intersection of softness, light, and quiet emotion, blending classic painterly techniques with a modern, minimalist romanticism.

We are more than a shop, it's a community of heartist's who cherish the beauty of handmade and heartmade art.

While my brush naturally gravitates toward serene, ethereal spaces, it is not afraid of the shadows. Rarely, but with absolute intent, I step into bolder realms, creating pieces defined by rich depths, striking contrasts, and profound meaning that demand a different kind of presence

When you welcome one of these pieces into your home, you are choosing more than art. You are introducing a lasting sense of contentment, a gentle wave of calm, or a powerful statement of depth that transforms an ordinary room into a sacred, peaceful sanctuary.

TAKE YOUR TIME

A small guide
to the haven.

Move between paintings using the arrows or numbered stops. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys. Nothing advances automatically.

Tap a painting to approach it. Tap it again, or select its title, to open the artist’s full story. The floating arrow guides you gently to the next work. Select a small photograph in the story to explore another angle, a detail, or the signed back.

Drag inside the gallery to look around. Choose a painting or numbered stop to move closer. “The gallery” brings you back to the room. “The artwork” opens the original photograph and studio details.
